I put a new battery in my xj today and noticed when I put the hot cable on or the ground the headlights flicker on then goes off imeadiatly. I couldn't find a draw on the battery but I didn't really get too in-depth yet. Any ideas on this?

do you have that delayed off headlight system, where they stay on for a bit after shutting off the jeep and the lights?

Its a 91 Limited but they aren't delayed after turning off....maybe they're suppose to be delayed though?
