alright guys so you know that thing on the roof liner between the sun visors that had a black bubble on it well me and my buddy took it off to see what the hell it was looked at it and plugged it back in. well tonight when i went to go home i go to turn on my headlights and they wont turn on now. im guessing that bubble is a light senor and we messed something up so now its not letting the head lights turn on. its a 95 cherokee country. im trying to go home tonight so let me know asap lol

 

The bubble is the sensor for the keyless remote. Not part of the lighting. It could be on the same circut, so maybe a short or blown fuse.

 

I also had a 93 Cherokee that had the headlight flicker problem. Actually they went out completely for 10 or 20 seconds and then would come back on and repeat the whole thing again at random. The first time this happened was at night on a lonely country highway in Nebraska where there were no lights of any kind for miles. Before I dug into anything I phoned my mechanic. He said the light switch has a circuit breaker built into it and was sure that was the problem. I went to Auto Zone, purchased an exact replacement for $20, installed it and never had that problem again. Can't say enough about a good mechanic.
