Got dim headlights. 8 volts only. Wouldn't stay on high beam. Blue indicator light also dim. Checked volts at front end plug under airbox. 8 volts also. Replaced headlight switch. Cleaned all contacts everywhere. Accessed switch via adjacent speedo/instrument panel. Not to awkward a job. Anyway everything works fine now.
Got a 94 xj auto 3 speed 4 litre.
