Default headlight issues

got a 91 xj the parking lights all work everything but the headlights work when the headlights are in the on position everything seems to flicker a bit the headlights will not come on completely they will be very very dim to the point i can barley see that they are on. I am not not able to drive it at night at all because they are that dim. i have checked fuses and they are all good and connected fine. The only thing i can think of is a ground maybe. But i do not know where the ground is located at. any ideas would be great also maybe even pictures of this ground would be nice.

I would start by replacing the Headlight switch and getting new bulbs (they are very cheap cheap anyways, or you could get some silverstar Ultra Whites which are VERY nice).

The headlight switch is known to go out on our jeeps, easy to replace(if you have big hands it just takes some pertinence) and it is cheap ($15 give or take from napa). you will need a t-15 driver thought, not just the bit.....
