Hey guys, googled your forum and this popped up. seems to be a popular site! Hopefully you can help me.

I installed a set of foglights on my buddies 98 Cherokee Sport and wired them up according to Hella's intsructions with the + wire from the low beams through the switch and then to the relay and then to ground so that the fogs would only turn on when the low beams were on and would turn off when the highs turned on. We wired the fogs directly off the battery and through a 15 amp fuse. So, it isnt drawing off the headlight circuit. It worked great for about 5 minutes and then all of a sudden the lows on teh driver side wouldnt work and neither would the fogs. But, the low beam on the passenger side works fine and so do both high beams. We tried swapping the lights from his other truck to see if there was a difference and the same problem occurs. Today he got a ticket for having his headlight out and i really need some help. Where should i look to find where this problem may be?
