Headlamps(headlights)
My headlights will not come on. they worked fine tonight till i shut the heap off. After that no luck. I did smell something like burnt peanut butter coming from the left side of the dash.(electrical). If i click and hold the multi function the high beams flash on and off. Other then that I'm dry of lights. Any clues to get me up and going again?

RE:
Under the air box is an electrical connection, unplug it and clean it with contact cleaner, plug back together and see if they work.
I recently had problems with my headlights. I bought a new switch, and they still did not work except the hi-beams. So after a little searching on the net I found this fix.
Hope it works for you.

Feel the switch body, there is a little button on them, push it down and pull out on the ****, the ****, stem should come right out.
