headers problem

Year: 1984 and 1999
Model: Cherokee
Engine: 2.8L and 4.0L
headers problem
I just recently finished putting new headers in my xj. When I start the jeep it automatically revs into high RPM. Has anyone heard of this? Any help would be useful. Thanks a lot.
