I don't think it is but I really don't know. If it is I think you'll spend more time trying to figure it out then it would take to remove the header first.

No . The bolts to hold it on go in the same spot . It's honestly not hard . But whole you're in there you will need a new gasket anyways . So pull it all and do it right . Or do it twice

No, and you have to remove it to replace the intake/exhaust gasket.

No it is really not. A few of the bolts can be difficult to torque due to their location but that's it.

its not a horrible job.. Ive done it 3 times now.. worst part I think is getting power steering pump off

I've found that picking one's nose with one hand and trying to loosen the bolts with the other is very hard.

Why if its a pain in the butt would you not just go ahead and pull both manifolds off get all the surfaces clean and not short cut it and have to do it again ? Seems counter productive.
