Default Header panel repair

Just wondering if anyone has tried to repair fiberglass on header panel. My is cracked on one side and missing a small chunk.

I notice that they are hard to find used without being damaged .

I just bought a new one. They really aren't that expensive and you can get color matched paint too.

My experience with aftermarket grill pieces, less than impressed. They are plastic, weak, not totally smooth and the edges need to be deburred. Fit and finish do not compare with OEM.
I repaired my panel with quality 30 minute epoxy, not the 5-minute crap in the self dispensing syringe. Used fiberglass cloth, and micro bubbles as filler.

agreed. I once bought one of those plastic header panels. Some places weren't deburred and other places was deburred way too much and had gouges.

Stick with fiberglass oem header panels Find another one at junkyard, or repair it.
