Default Header panel/ grille?

I have a 88' Cherokee that I'm hoping to get on the road next week and all I really have left to do is replace the header panel assembly. I can't find a used 87-90 so I was wondering if a 91 and up could be modified to fit or would I have to change the front clip?

Up until the body change in 97 or so are interchangeable.

So any complete header assembly up to 97 can be made to work?

yup, even the 97+ will bolt on. only a slight modification to the parking light harness is needed.
