I'm wanting to get one of those APN headers, but their website is saying they don't have one for a 2000/2001 XJ. Is there any reason a 99 model wont fit my 2001? Hopefully I don't have to go with a $400 header!

 

Get a header from banks, they are better than apns,also more money but you get a better product.

 

JBA also has one for the 2000 and newer 4.0 with two precats. It is about 100 dollars cheaper than banks or borla.

 

So is the precat pipe what's different? I was planning on just doing away with the factory cats and just putting in an aftermarket one at some point later on. I like how the Banks header comes with the pipe with O2 bungs welded in already.
