head lamp switch and gremlins ... please take a look
1st off let me tell everyone what I’m dealing with.
I currently have a 1993 4 door XJ (Aw-4 and a 4.0) if that matters. I have an unusual problem that has been around since I bought the pile about a year ago. Basically the headlights and tail lights won’t turn on at the same time UNLESS you finesse the headlamp switch (I’ve replaced the switch with a new one 2 times now… It isn’t the switch). What else could cause this to happen… If checked fuses . wires.. the whole mess… Is there a relay that I’m missing somewhere that’s switching over at the wrong time or something? If you know PLEASE let me know… this constant jimmy rigging to get lights/ dash lights/ and tail lights at the same time is getting OLD.
The other issue I’m having is recently the radio/ vent blower and cig lighter outlet stopped working… I checked all the fuses nothings burnt out…. Any ideas..
On the upside …. The XJ’s got a rusto paint job, gears, and rides nicely on 35’s J
