Default Head or head gasket?

There's oil coming the head gasket area on the push rod side of the motor. Is there any way to tell if it's the head or just the gasket before taking it all apart? It's a 98 4.0 so there's no 0331 head and I've cleaned the engine spotless and haven't found any cracks. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks.

Just the head gasket. Jeeps leak there pretty commonly. Be 100% sure it's not the valve cover leaking and seaping down though.

I changed the valve cover before thinking that was the problem. I cleaned the block twice to make sure it was the gasket. Oil runs down the ridge where the head meets the block from front to back.
