Default head gasket??

I think I may have just lost the head gasket on my 92 jeep cherokee 4x4 4.0 h.o. I was driving when the engine started shaking and vibrating on any acceleration, stopped and popped the hood and the oil dipstick was covered in that white/tan cream sludge. babyied it home 35 miles and started losing oil pressure a mile from home.
do you think it is the gasket or something worse, she has 265,000 on the odometer, so it's probably time for something to fail. what else should I look for before ripping it down?

Do a full oil removal, inspect. Same with coolant.

You can do a leak down test or compression test, but those don't always reveal a bad HG.

Also pull plugs and inspect.

It does indeed sound like the HG is the source of the problem.
