Default HD Radiator

My 94 XJ is starting to run hot when I come to a stop, no air coming through the grill. It will reach about 220/225deg. when the electric fan comes on and brings it back down to 210. This is something new. Does any one make a HD radiator for an XJ? Thanks P.S. Water pump was changed about 4 months ago and there are no leaks or loss of antifreeze..

first take the electric fan out along with the fan shroud for the clutch fan and spray water through the radiator to get all the road debris out. then do a compete coolant flush. Also check to make sure the clutch fan has resistance when you try to turn it. if it doesn't then replace it.

Even if the fan clutch has some resistance, if u don't know how old it is, replace it. The spin test is marginal at best and fan clutch performance degrades from day one.
