Can someone tell me what the connection is (no pun intended) between the Hazard Switch and the turn signals. Turn Signals quit working, 4 ways only passanger rear worked but stayed on solid. Wiggled the hazard switch rather roughly and the signal lights started working but no 4 ways at all. Is this a grounding issue in the column/4 way switch or is somethng going bad further down the system? Anyone?

 

I'm fairly certain Cherokees of that era used routed both turn signals and hazards through the hazard warning switch. Perhaps it's gotten dirty and intermittent?
