Default Hazard lights

The hazard lights on my daughters 2000 XJ don't work.Does anybody know which fuse is the hazard light fuse and if it's in the fuse box under the hood or the fuse panel on the passenger side floorboard.

You shuld be looking for the Fuse Panel underneath the driver side of the instrument panel outboard of the steering column.

You are looking for a relay, not a fuse
hope this helps

On my 98, the switch/assembly was bad, and was just a matter of switching out the assembly. The blinkers also started acting up.

the relay for the hazard/turn signals is under the headlight switch...the relay makes the noise when you use it..take lower dash pieces off and find the relay its grey...on all the late model ones ive seen there is a little foam wrap around it
