have power goin into coil no spark coming out
Issue started while driving down the highway, motor shut off, but all the electronics stayed on, didn't sputter out like a fuel issue, just turned off. Has not started since. Turns over and wants to start, but doesn't fire up Checked all the obvious stuff first(bat. grounds. fuses etc.) and then some. Changed out the CPS after no luck with fuses and such. Next the ignition coil.
Now the ignition coil is getting power but no spark coming out? Just replaced coil as well already possible it was bad? Wasn't the cheapest they had, but also wasn't the best...I know they can be shiddy. Also replaced CPS, checked all fuses and relays, checked grounds, and just about everything else I can think of. Is there anyway to test the Ignition Coil to see if it's good?
Any other Ideas that I may have missed? Haven't listed everything I've tried to do to fix the issue, too long a list.

Put a test light on the coil connector negative terminal (other end of test light to ground).
It should blink when you crank the engine, indicating the PCM is switching the coil to ground to fire it.
If you get no light at all, the coil primary is open or there is no power to it.
If it stays lit steady the PCM coil driver isn't switching.
There's a video around here on checking the cps, including making sure power is getting to it. I'd verify at least those basic checks too.
Ah. here it is:
