Hatch problem [ not good ]

Hatch problem [ not good ]
98 2 Door.
Loosened top bolts for liftgate with-out removing hatch struts first...now it won't open at all. It's been pushed to high....possibly from the pressure. The struts are stripped...so they can't be removed by turning.
Can't get into the bolts with a wrench. Not enough space.
No idea what to do.
