i really need help.
1998 jeep grand cherokee limited with a v8
has power - lights, radio etc work but occaisinaly will not start.
battery has been tested and is ok
cables are ok
starter has been replaced (that was first thing to get done)
then mechanic decided it was the alarm system, undid the alarm system and for over a week all has been good. this evening ...again it will not start. leave it alone for a bit and it starts... what is wrong!

I recommend moving this to a section that deals with the grand cherokees. This section is for the XJ only. Good luck! I wish I could help, but I only deal with the XJ.

Grand Cherokee Tech is what it's called. That section deals with the ZJ Grand Cherokee like you have.
