Hard start problem
Hey guys,
Just a small problem here but still a problem.
When I try and start my 98 Cherokee 4.0L when it's cold (even when warm outside) it will never start on the first try no matter how long I engage the starter. Then if I try it again, it starts right up. If it's warm and I shut it off for a few minutes then it will start right up on the first try.
In terms of condition of tune up parts, the cap, rotor, wires, and plugs are new. The plugs are platinum and I have heard that it's better to use just standard Champion plugs in Jeeps.
I have also recently replaced the upstream O2, MAP sensor, and TPS.
Anyone have any thoughts?
Thanks,
'Mash
