Well yesterday my 99s airbag light got to were it would flash on and off while driving. Then it was really hard to keep idling in the AM for the first start(would have to play with the gas pedal to get it warm) and I noticed some white smoke just for maybe 1-2 seconds after it fired up. It had some overheating issues that were fixed:new head gasket, rad, water pump, tstat, really good flush. It also had a fuel pump die and I did a new pump with injector upgrade(all were tested and cleaned). I know it could be the IAC but as soon as it warms up(10-15 sec) it runs amazing well. I am getting about 14-15 mpg 31 kos 3.5-4" lift. Thanks.

 

mine did the same with the starts. really bad in the winter. i had to rev at about 1500rpm for a couple minutes then it was fine. check your idle air control sensor. that was problem. you also could check the throttle positioning sensor. hope that helps
