so want to make half doors when i buy another set of doors. but there is one problem. i dont have the fab tools or the fab skills to do it so wat should i do?

all you need is a welder a grinder and a resip. saw. then take your time and learn the skills

buy a sawsall and go to town.. if you skrew up.. you still got your origonal.. it's cooler just to go doorless thou.

it's legal... just have to have a driver side mirror that stays in place and can see back. atleast in nc anyway. check your state laws.

i do it in my cj. most people that saw me with a doorless xj just thought ii was too poor to afford doors.. lol

I just go doorless in the summer here in UT & I don't get any crap for not having mirrors!

just do yourself a favor and don't be like me and just that the bolts outa the door. i promise you when it gets cold yooull want them on and 9/10 times they don't line back up right do it the right way and cut the bottom of the hinge and make them removeable.

you can get a cj mirror and mount it to your hood or you can get a yj mirror and stick them in the door hinge holes lol.
