Hey guys. I have noticed that whenever I fill up my Jeep with gas, I hear a gurgling sound coming from the fueltank in the rear. I hear it really well when I turn the Jeep off, in which it "gurgles" for a minute, and also when I am idling i can hear it if i listen hard. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this or know what it could be. The best way I can describe the sound is "a gurgle" (that's exactly what it sounds like).
Dude, i have this happen to me every time. Also, the pump will click off, And i turn on the car, and it will register like 2 lines before full. If i sit there for like 10-15 minutes, i can fill it up all the way!

Mine also does this, I always just assumed that it was the fuel running in the tank. x2 on the being able to put more gas in the tank when it stops. Although I usually don't add more.
i have the same problem!! i can only add like 20 cents worth of gas at a time before the pump clicks off and i see the gas come to the top then it leaks down. It gurgles too and i am getiing really crappy gas mileage right now. To The OP: Check your lines coming from the carbon cannister arnt disconnected or cracked because from what im told the gas fumes vent into this cannister and then manifold vacuum sucks it out.
