Question for you guys. A couple weeks ago in the snow I had my jeep in full time four wheel drive for about a 20-25 mile drive up to a friends with no problems. Later that night I went to drive home and had it back in two wheel since the snow was gone and I had a bad grinding noise that sounds like it's coming from the front of the jeep. I checked the linkage and made sure that was ok. It made the noise almost all the way home until I hit a big bump and the noise went away. It still makes the noise in 4wd both full time and part time. Any ideas? A couple friends said it's my transfer case but they're not sure.
