Grinding noise!!??

Grinding noise!!??
I just swaped my dana 30 vaccuum pod axle for a dana 30 2 peace awd and every time i go slow when turning it makes a terrible poping and grinding noice but if i take the front drive line out it takes corners just fine ? Im lost why does it grind and pop?
