Grind while going into Park

Well I just finished a 2wd to 4wd conversion and after getting it all done when I go into park I have a grinding noise. When going from park to the other gears it's fine its just when going from reverse to park.

Any ideas?

Make sure the transfer case in engaged fully into 2wd or 4wd. If it is in neutral....this is normal

Just hit me, Transfer Case is in 2wd but I don't have any driveshafts in.

Nothing to slow it down. Good thing I only did it a few times!
