Default Green monster alternator
Anyone install the Green Monster high output alternator in their XJ? Tried to get it installed in mine and the casing is almost a 1/2" larger than stock so it wouldn't fit in the bracket. Instructions say some modification is required in some XJ's for it to fit. Mine is a 99 with air. Wonder if anyone has installed it in theirs and what they did. TIA David

Im wanting to do this also, where did you get yours? price and difference over stock? hope to see how it turns out!

4 wheel parts had it for $370 supposed to be a higher amperage than stock.
