To grease or not to grease?
So the question is... When working on my Jeep, particularly the suspension and driveline, lugnuts, etc... should I use some sort of grease or anti-seize on the bolts that I R&R? I am a bicycle mechanic and on bicycles we use assembly grease on every bolt (usually steel to alum).
Thanks
Thanks

you should only put what the manufacturer suggests to put on the threads as anything you put on will effect the clamping force on that fastener, NEVER put anything like wd-40 or antiseize on wheel lugs as that reduces the thread friction and will increase clamping force for that torque

i put a little anti-seize on the threads of the lug nuts...these jeeps seem to like rust
