Default Good Stock Shocks

As much as I would love to lift my Jeep it has to travel to NY-LV in about 4 months and could use some new shocks.

What would be a good /reasonable replacements since I'm not cheap but if I'm gonna lift it within the year I don't want to spend HUGE $$$.

Also I picked up some stock Michelin tires off of craigslist that were brand new -with rims (MINT) and a brand new mounted full spare for $200.00. They have GREEN air caps on em which means they are filled with Nitrogen since the guy told me he just bought them from costco about 2 months before and they did that (he had em on then lifted). What do I fill these up with in the future ??

You can add regular air to tires filled with nitrogen. Are you just looking for a cheap OE replacement? You can get base line Monroe and Gabriel shocks for $25 each at Advance/Autozone/NAPA

Yea some OE ones but not bottom line and not top line since in my head this baby's going up at least 3" in the next year. Its just that the shocks are worn and suk- so to do all them miles (2,500+) on crud OEMs would be killer.

I bought the NAPA Response MJ shocks for my rear 3" lift and they work just fine. It had brand new Gabriel reds on it ($25 each new) which I'd sell if you want them. Otherwise, the cheapo shocks are still better than blown OE shocks, and they're cheap enough that you won't hate yourself to replace them next year with lift shocks
