@1995xjsport:
Started my doorless mods today, you said to keep you posted, got the driver side door done minus wiring, and skins/check hinges off all the other doors, gonna hit the JY tomorrow to find door plugs for the wiring, and we'll see how far I get with the rest tomorrow...some pics as requested

Bummer. As far as cutting goes, yeah, but it depends on what hinge you have. The hardest part was getting the hinge bolts out of the door. It's a T-40 torx bolt, but the clearance was an issue for me. Tore up 4 bits trying to get them out, so I ended up using a cutoff wheel to cut the heads of the bolts and replaced with grade 8 bolts. Also went to the JY and got the door plugs from a ZJ for 12 bucks, I'll be starting that mod today. Good luck with the body work, were you wheeling it when it happened?

Did anyone else miss and said he just started driving and is 16.... and this most likely is his daily driver... do not do a lift do not cut your fenders... Dont do any mods that change the way your jeep drives yet... 1st drive the Jeep stock for a year.... get used to driving in general.... now as for mods you can do... I would do h4 headlight converstion and wiring so you can see better at night

Does your jeep have a tow hitch? if not add one as a rear recovery point... and add front tow hooks as a front recovery point... get skid plates to protect what you have... front, transfercase and gas tank skid... now these are all mods that do not affect you being about to drive your jeep daily ..... and most parents will be in favor of these mods hope this helps...

No it was foggy and I was going to fast, came up on a turn I tried to apply the brakes easy but they locked up( no abs) then I cut the wheel it spun side ways I cut it back it whipped back the other way and I went into a ditch hit the tree and that spun me back in a 180. I was on the side of the road and no one stopped I flagged a guy down and used his phone( mine had litteraly just died. I called my parents and they came to my rescue. I fixed the fender and I used zip ties, super glue and self tappers to hold the grill on. It still goes great I'm so lucky.

Yes it does have a tow hitch but until I get into crazy wheeling I don't think I'm gonna do skids I just wanna fix the rust and what not first the I'm gonna buy a cheap car or something so I can take the heep ( that's what I call it) off the road and do my mods. I want to do a 4.5 inch or a 6 inch long arm lift. Then I'm gonna get either 33 inch bfg mud terrains or ssr's or bigger. This summer I plan on doing half doors. Also I'm ripping out the rugs and bed lining the interior.
