You just suggested that a kid that hasn't been driving for more than one year to remove his sway bars and spray paint the tail lights...

Some suggestions I can give are a good, thorough detailing...inside and out...wash and wax, break out the brushes on the small and hard to reach areas, clean everything you can. Clean enough to make a drill sergeant proud. You will get your ride looking good and getting up close to areas inside and out, you never know what you might find as far as problems go and more and more projects will come flooding in. Also, start doing necessary maintenance. Oil changes, coolant flushes and so on. Once the 'rents see you are taking care of your car and being responsible, that lift and so on may come a bit faster....
