Good driving, wierd noises?

This is my DD and I don't know how to make heads or tails of this. Maybe you guys can tell me if it is normal.

My 91 XJ drives great; kicks off the start well, never has idle issues, its all great.. But I swear this thing makes more noises than a flock of ginnies. Is this a typical Jeep Cherokee 4.0 at work or should I be concerned? Great oil pressure, no more burning oil as far as I can tell... I dunno.

Just noises. Ticking, diesel sounding exhaust... a whole host of noises.

If not for the forum, my XJ would be a KO

If your XJ doesn't have any rust, some sort of engine noise, or dents anywhere on it, then something is wrong with it. If your XJ makes more noise than you can bear, has more body chips and such than you can shake a stick at, it is a healthy, happy XJ.
