i currently have a 3" skyjacker. i want to go higher! im going to order new 6.5" coils, upper and lower control arms adjustable from 0 to 8" of lift, drop pitman arm for 4'' up to 8" of lift, 2" rear shackles 1.5" tapered lift blocks, plus 1" tranny drop kit. i already have a skyjacker adjustable track bar. what else should i get? this is going to be more or less a custom lift with many different brands of parts. does anyone think this will work good being a short arm kit. i know i need a sye kit but is there any out there lower than 300 to 500 bucks?

If you are going to use the stock length arms and not long arms, you should get a drop bracket so your control arms won't be at such a steep angle.

Get JCR 1-ton steering. That will work fine.

does that help with the ride? or is it more for the flex? as far as the drop brackets go?

yes it looks killer similar to mine from rugged ridge but looks stronger and can be mounted either above or below the knuckle
