Go For Green
Well, after several weeks of planning, I finally got sick of looking at it sitting there, all unlifted and stuff. Friday, I pulled it in the garage, looking like this...
When I pulled it out yesterday afternoon, it looked like this...
Still lots to do, gotta get the brakes bled, shocks hooked up, etc, etc, not to mention refabbing the tranny tunnel and building a manual shift box for the TCUless aw4. But it's getting there.

thanks to everyone for the positive feedback ... if it wasn't for this forum, i'd probably still be looking at a stock height green jeep and a rotted out 3.5'' white XJ missing its driver door

Yeah, I really wasn't digging the whole green with a sunvisor look until I got the lift under it. Either this week or next I will be ordering the 34x10.50 LTBs for it, and I have most of what I need for the manual TCU. It's gonna sport stock bumpers for now, donated from the now white weedeater, and a mostly gutted interior.

Well, this past weekend, I picked up a set of half tread 15x35x15 Swamper Boggers for about the same price as one brand new one, so I went that route instead of the LTBs, for now. I got them home, and got Boggeritis, so I mounted them up on the much too narrow 15x7 rims, and here is a couple of crappy pics of what I ended up with.

Dang man, those are some big @$$ tires!... Those things are going to wear in the center really fast on those narrow rims... Even if they don't rub themselves to death... But hey, They're swampers, and they were cheap. So kudos to you man!
Oh, and did you stack more leaf springs in on the rear? or did you get a new pack?
