Default getting fuel rail on....how?

I put in new injectors and i can't for life of me get the fuel rail back on. It's like the o-rings don't want to go in there. is there a trick? I pushed as hard as I could and they simply won't go in. Do the o-rings go in first and then the injectors or something?

the way i did it was put the oring on the injector tap the injector into the rail, then just push the rail into the engine real hard and tighten down the bolts, i didnt notice a distinct pop or anything they just didnt leak when i started it.

So injectors into the rail first and then engine. I'll give that try.

yeah thats what i did, but to get the injectors into the rail i had to put a socket over top the injectors and tap with a hammer while i held the rail in my hand, make sure you hold the rail in your hand for some reason that made it easier when i was doing it instead of setting it on something

Yeah you should put the injectors into the rail first. That's how I have always done injectors.

Success! Injectors into the rail first and then into the manifold. I used 3-in-1 oil on the o-rings to assist in gettin em in and it worked well. I installed 4-holed ford mustang injectors.

Thanks for the tips!
