First off, I post way too many stupid questions in tech. Haha.
Second, I'm wanting to do any maintenance/cleaning/changing (etc.) that'll make my Jeep run better, or especially run longer, in the long run. She's not in bad shape now, but I could use some logical stuff to do before I do the fun things like lifting and all that.

i would do the following to give it a complete overhaul:
-degrease the block
-drain ALL FLUIDS (engine, trany, brakes, tcase, power steering, coolant, diffs, washer fluid)
-take off the Throttle body and clean it really good
-take off the oil pan and clean the crap/gunk out of it, inspect motor
-replace rear main seal
-replace oil pan gasket
-replace oil filter adapter O-rings
-take valve cover off clean all of the gunk/crap
-inspect head
-replace valve cover gasket
-replace CCV/PCV valves on valve cover
-replace coolant hoses
-replace any vacuum hose that looks worn
-replace rotor/cap/spark plug wires/spark plugs
-replace air filter
-replace fuel filter
-replace oil filter
-clean fuel rail/injectors
-clean battery(replace battery cables if they are corroded)
-clean grounds
-clean starter connections
-clean Alt connections
-inspect fuses in the fuse bock under the hood
-replace belt
-new fluids(per factory specs)
-bleed for air
-make sure everything is torqued down properly
-fill up with a premium unleaded and run a fuel system cleaner thru and run the tank down.
(i hope that i have not forgotten anything)
enjoy all of the work you have just done and how much better the jeep runs =]
