GEN

lately a light in my xj hasbeen coming on. It just says GEN in red but I cant seem to to tell a difference. Is this something I should be worried about? Can it e fixed? PLEASE HELP

Well the light is telling you something is wrong in the charging system. Could be as simple as dirty wire connection or a bad battery or alternator. You can go to most part stores to have the battery and Alternator tested.

GEN means generator, AKA, the alternator.

That light just means something is off in the charging system.
