The only problem i have with that chart is it does show the difference between standard and automatic trans.

I would go for 4.10s id i where you. but everyone else will say go 4.56. If you ever think you might go to 35s go 4.56

4.10s with standard is like 4.56 in an auto

4.56s with standard is like 4.88s in an auto

Like i said with 4.10s and 33s right now you will be at like 110% of stock which sound like a good percentage for offroading.

everything i am stating is what i have read between jeep forum, jeep cherokee forums, jeep horizins, and others. i read alot but reading doesnt always work as well as real world experience which i have none when it comes to gearing. yet. anyone else wanna chip in or am i going down the right track?

This chart should help you get a good idea of your gear ratio without opening the diff. Hope it helps.
BTW this chard it wrong. that is rpms at 70 MPH not 55.

Thanks for all the great info im wanting gears that will be better off road but wont kill my gas mileage thinkin 4.10's will probably be my best bet.
