Default Gearing my xj

I have a 93 xj with about 5" lift and 33x10.5 tires that i use for trail riding mainly. Its lacking a lot of power! The motor has tons of miles on it. It hardly holds any oil pressure but doesnt knock so i keep on cruisin it. It still has the factory gears and will barely turn the tires over in mud in high lock. What gears should i look at for this? And do u think its the gearing or motor or combination of for my lack of power? Thanks in advance!!

4.56 if you want power and don't care about doing 75 across 10 states a day. 4.10 if you want more power but still intend to drive at higher speeds. I'm leaning towards 4.10s and 33s soon.

tons of threads on this exact topic...searches are your friend. I for one have 33's and 4.56's and drive daily with no problems. About 2200 rpm at 65mph
