Hello everyone. I recently put some 33x12.50 BFG's on my 95 cherokee 5 speed with a 5" lift. I thought the stock gearing would be ok because it seemed to have lots of power but when i got the tires on i couldn't even stay in 5th gear on the highway at 65mph! so i've been running it in 4th gear and only spinning 2000rpm. This is very frustrating because i miss the "get up and go" it had stock. can anyone tell me what gears i need to put in it to get it back to stock??? any help is great!

being stick shift you have 307 a cheap gear change is to get the front and rear out of an automatic there 355 it will help alot and this way you dont have to set up any gears just bolt them in and your good new gears are a lot of cash then you got to pay some one to install them .im running 38s with 410s out of a 4cly cherokee got lucky at the u pull it yard . i run 70 mph in 5 gear at around 2200 rpm

355's wont take you back to stock, I believe that 410s and 33's are equal to stock gearing, but I could be wrong.

you have to remember standard transmission vechicles don need the gearing automatics do. the 355 from an automatic if you can get the whole front and rear for agood price it easier and cheaper than gears and all the money and down time.
