Gauge problems?

Gauge problems?
I have a 94 Cherokee country. I recently put a new thermostat and both temp sensors. The back one on the head was broken. Now my gauge is reading hot hot! Like 250 or so but it is definitely not that hot. I opened up the hood and it felt alright and didn't run wierd at all. Also my gas gauge is reversed full=empty empty=full. Other gauges work fine. The cluster I believe is not the original
