I get about 16 gallons when I fill up. If the plugged converter did something to the o2 sensor then I'll try to replace that. My dad keeps telling me that I have an suv so I should expect bad mileage but I'm sure it should be more than 12 mpgs

check all your sensors map, coolant,mat,tps,iac and such.
