My 90 is pretty messed up. I need to try cleaning the sending unit in the tank. Pretty sure I read you can clean it with alcohol. Even messed up it let's me know when I should fill up. Except once. It was weird. was like all the gasoline burned up and my jeep just stopped! I think the gauge itself is OK because if I ground the sensor wire it goes all the way up. Hope that helps...

My 90 acts screwy too. Once it gets between 1/2 and 1/4 tank,I gotta keep my ears tuned to listen for the growling.g of the fuel pump. That let's me know I'm close to running out.

I think maybe on a 2000 you need to drop the tank to get to the pump/sending unit, but don't know for sure. Just figured out today in the thread search parentheses will search for the phrase instead of just the words. For instance "fuel gauge sending unit" The filler tube might be the hardest part. ....

Whoops, Wrong....Well it searches anyway.....
