i have a 98 jeep cherokee sport 4.0 liter when you open your hood of the car what are the two wires one gets pulled and is braided metal and the other gets pushed and its covered with rubber. the wire that gets pulled when hitting the gas pedal is super thin and i am soon need of replacement of it and i need to know what im getting to replace to anyone has any clue what it could be?

 

you talking about throttle cable/ maybe cruise cable?

yeah just a bowden cable that comes from the gas pedal that opens throttle. its rusted?
