ive been pulled over a couple of time for not having a third brake light i added a stupid trailer light on some flexy metal brackets and tapped into my brake light i was just wondering if i actually needed it they said since regan was in office all cars have had a third one but ive seen alot without them


also i want to tint my tails and idk what the best way to do i would be i was thinking about making like a plastic cover that i can remove, up front too maybe cover the entire light set up front including the headlight but like i said a removable peice of plastic or something

 

Wow, the cops around you have nothing better to do than pull over people without a 3rd brake light? Seems like BS to me, considering the Cherokee didn't come with a 3rd brake light until 1994.

 

yea their real dicks around here he was sayin **** like did your brake light get knocked out with your back window >.> damn mailboxes in culvsacs after 2am with no reverse lights i was like no my jeep didnt come with one and he was like almost my age a litle older and said the **** about regan bein in office and i said no my jeep didnt have one when i got it so he said the preveious owner must have taken it off i was like no there isnt wires for one and i ended up getting like 5 warning i one week one was tag light out on the way to get the brake light i got pulled over ther day before fixed and i had some scrap metal in the back to that guy was all like where did you get all that i was like i remove it from my neighbors yards because im nice like that
