Default Fuse Blocks

Ok, I'm super confused right now. Most places I've looked at say that there should be two fuse blocks...one one the drivers side inside firewall, and one under the hood, passenger side. Some places even say there's one under the dash on the passenger's side. The only one I'm seeing is the inside driver's side block...is that the only one or are there more?

the one that is above your brake pedal and behind the hood release lever is kind of a secondary fuse block. I does radio, dome, hazzard flash fuses etc. there is also another one that is by the battery. that one has power coming to it directly from the battery. it may be a little different but thats my setup on my 92 xj. I havent had to do much with my fuse block under the hood except when my obs fuse blew there and cut power to my radio.

I went out and looked closer, and I'm now 99% sure that there's no fuse block in the engine bay. Maybe that's just a difference between the RENIX and HO engines?

Anyway, for now I only know of one fuse block.

Possibly, mines an '88 and there is only one under the dash.

just trace your battery cables. one goes to starter and selenoid and engine ground and the other to fuseblock

I have a 98 with the fuse box located on the passenger side,, and my other one, under the hood.

I can't recall there being one above the brake pedal???
