Thumbs down Funny Wheel Noise

When the wheel is turned and moving I can hear almost a scratching/popping noise coming from behind the U-joint on the tire side. Are there bearings in there that need to be greased or somthing? I need to get this fixed ASAP!Thanks guys

That would be your wheel hub. Maybe time for some new bearings.

Funny, I have the same problem. The dealer I bought it from said it was the stopper... but doesnt really sound like its supposed to be making that noise... If anyone has an answer to the question from TrevorNelson, please, share with us to help resolve this. Thank You!

Same noise a week and a half ago. changed the axle u-joints and all is better now. As an added bonus to changing the u-joints you will have an opportunity to check your wheel hub bearings.

unless shes strictly a mall crawler, id offer that you spend a couple extra and get good u joints. spicer is legit... speaking from experience with this one... hell, just look at my avatar pic to know that i like to get flexy... and after doing that, my allignment was deff. a little off but my front pass. side joint was already going and im assuming if i check it, the drivers side is gonna have some play now...

Hey, I'm new to this forum and i don't know much about how to use it yet but i have also been having the same kind of problem. when i drive past 4omph and i turn the steering wheel slightly to the left i start hearing a humming, grinding noise which i believe might be coming from the right front tire.

I just don't know exactly what it might be. at first i thought something might be rubbing against the rim but i don't see any scratches. I'm thinking it might be the u-joints or wheel bearings like you guys said but I'm not really sure. if it might be anything else please let me know. Its my daily driver so i need to fix it quickly because I'm heading to Ct tom night. thanks
