fully drained aw4 , how much fluid
I got a tranny from the JY, its going in tomorrow , I got the old one out today, the new one is fully drained , how much fluid does it take, also I drained my tcase so I need to know how much that takes. Is there any good additives I can put in the tranny.

even with a dumped pan and a new converter install I still only dumped in 6 quarts. I guess the thing holds a lot inside. I use that lucas trans stop leak/slip fix. It seems "tighter" to me after adding. It depends on your transfer case 231/242? I think it like 1 1/2 or 2 quarts of your fav. atf. fluid. I use ams synthetic trans fluid. super quiet after change.
