Has anyone exeperienced this? At full lock, ie, pulling out of a parking spot, my XJ starts this bucking bronco routine. Throttle feel disappears and XJ begins to surge and buck. All is good in the suspension area and I'm lost for a reason. Not that troublesome, but a bit uncontrollable in the supermarket parking lot.

Any ideas?

 

Take it out of 4wd.

power steering pump whine? Fluid full? Steering gear OK?
I would also check the ujoints.
